A herd of wild sheep is responsible for this wine.
When they ran Loose in the best block and ate half the grapes it could have been a total disaster.
However, it ended up being a huge success thanks to the unexpected reduction in yield.
The result is a delicious, concentrated wine that at one point looked to be a complete and utter cluster fl*ck.
The light straw colour with green highlights is full of aromas of pineapple, mown grass and peach.
In the mouth its very fresh with a balanced acidity.
A great alternative to New Zealand’s Sauvignon Blanc!
