Pedra Cancela is a historic 20 hectare winery based in the heart of the Dao region.
The Dao lies in the north of the country where warm days are moderated by the local mainly granite soils which add freshness to the wines. This is made from gapes grown on several vineyards, each lendng its own particular character to the wine.
A cold maceration followed by cool fermentation then ageing in stainless steel with some batonnage for extra texture.
Grape: Encruzado, Cerceal-Branco & Malvasia Fina
Tasting Notes: Floral melon and pear aromas, silky medium-bodied texture, dry and elegant with a refreshing finish.
Food Match: Simply grilled fish, salads and spice.
